...and while that has almost nothing to do with our business, it has everything to do with how we
became friends, and eventually Flywell Creative.
We have seen a lot of personal and professional changes since we opened the doors to our studio on July 2, 2007. Adam had another son. Corey married Alaina. All the while, it has been clear that Flywell Creative was just meant to be.
People always seem to ask us the same question, “Do you ever get sick of spending so much time together?” Our response: If spending this much time together ever stops being this much fun… then, maybe.

Having mastered the crayon at age 8 and the colored pencil by age 12, Corey then began testing his skills in pen and ink, pencil, paints and any other medium available. He developed into what looked like a budding illustrator, but found his perfect toolset in the computer. While Corey still illustrates, he has an expanded resume with "Worlds Best Grilled Cheese", and "Best Chef Boyardee Box Pizza Team Member" (those are direct quotes from an authority that shouldn’t be second-guessed).
Among all the things that Corey loves, he would admit that his three greatest loves are; God, his beautiful wife Alaina, and creativity (in any form). Corey knows that his creativity is a God-given talent, but contributes his artistic success to hard work, and the widespread support of his wife Alaina, family and friends. He proudly claims to have developed his "World Class" grilled cheese on his own.
Born and raised in the heart of Central Illinois, Adam is no stranger to the heart warming values of the Mid-West… is how Adam’s bio would start if he were running for president. But, as Adam will tell you, he’s much better suited to fulfill his role as, “husband to Lindsey,” “father to Simon and Elliot,” and “business director at Flywell” than holding a political office. Adam attributes his happy life to blessing from God (the real Commander-in-Chief), and the love of his wife and family.
A long time fan of Indiana Jones and MacGyver, Adam has always wanted to travel the world in search of adventure. After graduating from college, Adam marries his high school sweetheart, and they are currently raising two sons – more of an adventure than “Dr. Jones” ever saw. Adam has a B.A. in Geography and a M.S.Ed. in curriculum and instruction. But, then again, getting a degree in, “Really, really creative” wasn’t an option.
